Renting out a single, unfurnished bedroom in a 2-story, 4-bedroom home. The first floor has a wide open floor plan and the second has a landing with all four bedrooms. I have brand new appliances which are free to use for our tenant. The home has 2 generally available bathrooms. The utilities are top of the line, with upgraded large water tank and a new 2-stage AC unit.

The ideal person is someone quiet and friendly. Nerdy people who like boardgames are even better, as I have quite the collection. No dogs, but cats can be approved with an additional deposit amount.

We’re 20 or so minutes from Austin proper, depending on where you’re going. We’re right next to a Walmart and the area is expanding.

A background check is required, which will be done through MyRental and requires a non-refundable $27 fee (you’ll get an email to pay directly). This will count toward your first month’s rent if you’re approved. We’re mostly focused on criminal history and evictions though, so don’t worry if you haven’t the best credit.

Couples can be considered, but rent would be $950 due to more people in the house.
