Central Austin Room for Rent over Summer

House facing King Street, the arched doorway is our entrance.

I'm looking for a short-term renter over the 2026 summer, meaning through the months of May, June, July, and August. This room is on the upper floor of a two-story duplex that's right off the UT campus. Featuring large windows, a private, ensuite bathroom, and full amenities of the house, this room has everything you'll need for a summer stay in Austin!

Amenities:
- Room comes furnished with bed, mattress, desk, desk chair, lounge chair, and several tables and bookshelves.
- Large closet with room for any clothes/luggage with hanging cloth shelves
- Bathroom is ensuite, has full tub/shower.
- Washer/dryer on site.
- Kitchen has full-sized fridge, stovetop, oven, and sink. No dishwasher. Stocked with pans, dishes, and basic cooking supplies.
- Other kitchen appliances include: microwave, toaster oven, Instant Pot, blender, toaster, and more.
- Air conditioning unit and insulation are newly installed, so no worries about summer heat!
- Parking consistently available on the street.
- Nearest bus stop only three-minute walk.
- Multiple highly rated bars and restaurants within walking distance of the house.
- Multiple grocery and convenience stores within walking distance of the house.
- Wifi provided.
- Shared living room with couch and smart TV.

One other person is living on the second floor, my 19-year-old stepbrother, Dillon. He's a quiet, polite roommate who doesn't drink or smoke and doesn't often have people over. Notice is always given before any guests/friends pop in. Dillon has a car and will likely be available to help with groceries for any renters who come without their own vehicle. If you like video games, electrical engineering, or 3D printing, then you'll have plenty to talk about! If not, you'll still get along just fine.
