I’m looking for a roommate for the second bedroom in my apartment, available right away. The room is spacious and features a large closet and a private bathroom. While there is some furniture in the room, it can all be removed if you’d prefer to bring your own. Rent and utilities are very affordable, totaling around $750/month.

About the Apartment & Area:
The apartment is located at Riverside and Pleasant Valley — within walking distance to H-E-B, Goodwill, and numerous restaurants and shops. The complex offers great amenities, including a pool open until midnight, frequent resident events with free food and drinks, a 24-hour fitness center, on-site security, and a clubhouse. Multiple bus lines are just a two-minute walk away, and downtown is a short drive. The area also offers convenient access to nightlife and concert venues.

About Me:
I’m a 38-year-old working professional with two jobs. I live a fairly quiet lifestyle but enjoy going out and being social. At home, I like cooking, watching movies, and relaxing by the pool. I’m open to building a friendship with my roommate, but I completely respect boundaries if you prefer a more low-key dynamic. I keep my space clean and tidy, even with a dog and a cat in the household. Since I already have pets, no additional pets will be allowed.

About You:
The ideal roommate would be employed, mature, and drama-free. Heavy partying or substance abuse is not a fit. This is an LGBTQ-friendly household. The current lease runs until April, with the possibility of re-signing if it’s a good fit.
