Our Room 2 is available now and just got new carpet. It features a queen bed, reversible comforter, solid wood matching nightstand w/table lamp, large computer desk and chair, smart TV, and a ceiling fan. It has a large walk-in closet. Das Haus is our 3500 sq ft guesthouse featuring four upstairs furnished rooms and is on the north side of The Woodlands. We've designed it to meet the needs of business, education, and medical adult professionals. Das Haus' hosts, Karl and Angela, have created a warm and welcoming social atmosphere with a bit of an Old World provincial European theme. Karl and Angela live in the master suite downstairs.

All of the downstairs of the large residential home are “common” areas except for the master bedroom suite. The interior of Das Haus is an open design and spokes out from the spacious kitchen. The living room boasts a HDTV and an awesome sounding home theater system for movie nights and big games. In the wintertime a natural gas fireplace provides a cozy atmosphere. The downstairs kitchen is stocked with all the cooking tools a cooking enthusiast would want. The kitchen bar and the lovely dining room are regularly used by our renters for dining.

Das Haus includes all these features at a single affordable price:

- All guestrooms: attractive bedspread or quilt and bed linen; either a like-new, memory foam topped Sealy Posturepedic mattress or 3"memory/gel foam mattress toppers; work stations, wall-mount smart HDTV's, dressers, nightstands w/table lamps, closets, ceiling fans, and keyed door locks.
- There are two nicely appointed, full bathrooms upstairs. We provide you with bath linen, liquid hand soap, and TP. A half-bath is available at the base of the stairs.
- The upstairs lounge dining area sports a cute round dining table w/stools, full-size fridge, microwave, convection oven, instant pot, and coffee maker. We provide disposable plates, bowls, and cups on the counter. We assign space in the pantry shelves and in the fridge to you at move-in.
- The upstairs lounge also has a seating area and is a great place to eat, read, or just kick back and relax.
- A exercise area in the upstairs lounge is equipped with a back extension/workout bench, chrome dumbbells with 150# of plates, a recumbent bike, and a Teeter brand inversion table.
- Laundry room is off the 2nd floor hallway. The washer and dryer, a utility sink, steam iron and ironing board are all available to our guests.
- The home is equipped with radiant barrier technology in the attic and uses identical 2 & 1/2 ton Carrier HVAC units for upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs stays as cool as the downstairs during the Houston summer heat, unlike in many older/cheaper two story homes.
- Solid Internet. 1 Gig fiber optics internet service.
- Monthly costs for electricity, natural gas, water, trash, fiber optics internet, and Hulu Live/NetFlix/ESPN/Disney+ TV streaming are all included in a single, fixed-price room rent.

We're in a super location, right up SH-242 from I-45 and the large Woodlands Methodist Medical Center in a nice residential subdivision. The Woodlands newest HEB grocery is right across SH242. A great variety of fast food and restaurants are right in the neighborhood. The home has a 3 car garage and driveway to accommodate more vehicles than usual.

Terms: Mature, sociable behavior is expected from all our residents. Rooms are available for single person occupancy only and you must be 21 yrs or older. Occasional guests are allowed. This is a smokeless property. (No smoke of any kind, no exceptions.) All guestrooms are upstairs, we can't accommodate pets. Rooms are rented on a month-to-month lease and there is a $250 refundable security deposit on all rooms. Our residents often stay a year or more. Paying the deposit in advance will hold a room.
