Live with several fun guys and gals in a spacious, funky house near several universities. The house is over 4,300 sf and has 4.5 bathrooms, a pool table, big kitchen, fireplace, library and tons of communal space for entertaining.

We have a double lot with a *huge* backyard, a patio, fire pit, a garden and several trees. There are a ton of parking spots in the driveway and street as well as free laundry in the house.

The vibe of the house is quiet and relaxed and is great for the serious student or young professional who likes to kick back on the weekends with like-minded folks in a friendly atmosphere. We are close to all of the entertainment and nightlife in Montrose and Midtown.

The room has three bay windows, central AC and a window unit along with its own bathroom/shower. Because we are close to 3 universities, leases are coordinated with the school year and will run until July 31, 2026, with an option to renew for one year thereafter. Shorter term rentals will be an extra $50 per month.

Utilities are split evenly 8 ways between everyone and are generally pretty reasonable, approx. $60 - $80/mn depending on the season, for everything including electricity, water, gas, high speed wireless internet. Solar hot water panels also help with the bills.

This house is within walking distance of the University of Houston (4 blocks), TSU (5 blocks) and is a short bike to the Medical Center and Rice University. Students or those who work within the loop are encouraged to apply. Please don't apply if you work way out in the suburbs, because the commute is just too far. Also, please do not apply if you are not financially stable with a good background history.
