The home has central AC, a gas fireplace, granite countertops, and a shared kitchen/dining/living area on the second floor. Located in a private gated neighborhood near Bomar and Stanford, walkable to plenty of restaurants and shops.

Rent is $1,150/month plus a $75 flat utility fee. Optional attached garage parking available for $75/month. Street parking is usually easy.

You'd share the home with one full-time roommate, a 24-year-old male research coordinator at Baylor College of Medicine. I'm the owner, a 37-year-old pediatric ICU physician at Texas Children's Hospital. I live mostly in Philadelphia and only use one of the upstairs rooms about one week every 5 to 6 weeks. When I'm in town I'm working long hours and very low-key.
