Room + study available in Oak Cliff with private bathroom (looking for 1 person)

Housemate wanted in quiet neighborhood 3 houses down from Kiest Park (263-acres with walking and biking trails) in Oak Cliff. The house is close to Aldi's and the DART red and blue lines, and minutes from 35/30/67/20, downtown, and several major hospitals including Methodist.

I'm a library assistant and gardener. I also like to read, bake, collect plants, and volunteer with the North Texas Master Naturalists. Growing up I was raised conservative, but now I'm quite liberal. I'm originally from Dallas, and I studied anthropology and theater in Chicago in college and then taught English overseas for a couple of years.

This property is a certified wildlife habitat, but we keep all the animal wildlife outside 🙂 The garden is a work in progress and is doing really well this year. Currently there's fig trees and hibiscus amongst the wildflowers and fennel everywhere.

Females preferred, no pets, no smoking.

$950/month including utilities for 2 rooms with a private bathroom. Utilities included are water, electric, gas, internet, and laundry use.

There is also off-street parking. I'm looking for someone who would fit in well with a cozy, quiet house.

Move-in dates are flexible after June 1st. I like living with other people and am willing to wait for the right person. I want everyone to feel welcome, safe, and that this is truly their home.
