Hey everyone! In a few weeks, I’ll have a room available in North Dallas at Royal and 75. It’s a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo, and I’m looking for a new roommate to fill the spot. It’ll just be me and my German Shepherd living here.
It’s 976 square feet, and rent is $800 per month plus utilities, with an $800 deposit. The room is furnished with a queen-sized mattress, but you’re welcome to replace it with your own. The condo has a washer and dryer, as well as a sectional and a sofa in the living room.
Utilities are mainly just electricity and internet. Electricity tends to be much higher in the summer, but I’m currently shopping around for a cheaper rate.
I'm 31, somewhat of a nerd, and currently work in furniture sales while picking up the occasional side gig. In the summers, I'm training in HVAC. I also like to occasionally write music and work on creative projects (right now that’s making pillows.) I like to believe I’m pretty laid-back but I’m also very ADHD, so if you need something done or fixed around the house, just hold me accountable and I’ll make sure it gets taken care of!
I’m looking for a someone who can pay rent on time and is comfortable living with a big dog. I’m also open to pets, as long as they get along with mine. If that’s the case, I’d be happy to arrange an introduction beforehand to help them get used to each other before moving forward.
Move-in date: I don’t have a firm date, but it will be around the end of February. I’m flexible and willing to work with you on timing since I have some things I need to take care of until then.
The bedroom in the pictures is the one that will be available once my current roommate moves out. I apologize some of these pictures are older, and aren’t representative of the current furniture in the house, I’m slapping this together right now while I’m not at home and some of these pictures were sent to me by the realtor before I moved in a while back, plus my roommate sent me pics of his room. I’m happy to provide more updated pictures soon.
Message me if you’re interested and we can exchange contact info! I’d love to hash out all the details and work something out.
