We are a gay male couple (30 yrs together) searching for that compatible roommate for our large (3,400 sq ft) 4BR/4BA/3LA home in northeast Dallas near Texas Instruments, Fossil and Richland College. We are also convenient to both LBJ (I-635) & Central Expressway (US-75).
The spacious suite being advertised sits over our garage and part of the media room. It measures 19 ft x 21 ft and features a brick fireplaces with built in bookcases on both sides. In addition it has a full bath (shower but no tub) with a nearly 6 ft vanity, a 9 ft walk-in closet, wet bar with wine rack, new double pane windows on two walls plus a skylight and a balcony overlooking our very private pool. With its own thermostat, this room is almost like and efficiency or studio. The wet bar even has a small refrigerator and a microwave. The spaced is furnished with a queen bed, a sectional seating group facing the fireplace with a 50" LED TV screen mounted above, a computer desk, and a breakfast table with 4 chairs. The balcony is furnished with 2 chairs & a table. Towels, sheets and comforter are provided. Our home is on a quiet street that ends in a cul-de-sac. There is always plenty of parking available right in front.
Our home includes a large kitchen with two refrigerators, laundry, media room, wireless fiber internet, a large patio with fountains and a beautiful crystal clear diving pool surrounded by an 8 ft privacy fence allowing clothing optional use. Also residing here are two miniature Dachshunds. Our home is a quiet, stable, drama-free household seeking someone who values the same. We are non-smokes here and are seeking the same in a housmate.
The room is available now and will rent for $900/mo (all bills includeed) plus a $900 refundable deposit. These numbers are negotiable. We will be willing to hold the room for the ideal candidate to give them time to give proper notice to their current landlord.
