Seeking Domestic Partner To Share House

** Please note the house is not ready for immediate move in. Move in date TBD once we discuss and get to know each other in order to determine if we’re a good fit. Time frame will depend on how soon we both feel comfortable taking the next step based on conversations, questions, and meeting in public. This is for both parties’ safety and comfort. **

This is a two-story brick house with central air/heat and 2-car garage. You would live in the upstairs (one bedroom, one smaller room that could be a home office, storage, whatever) and a full bath. In addition to the two rooms and full bath, rent would include utilities (electric/water/internet) and there would be shared common areas such as the kitchen, laundry and living room. I am also pet friendly.

Neighborhood is in a highly desirable zip code and location – all brick homes and quick access to medical, shopping, 840, I-24 and I-40. House is located on a side street of the subdivision and on a dead-end street in cul-de-sac. Neighbors are friendly and helpful if needed and keep an eye out for one another but also respect privacy and boundaries.

I'm a widower seeking a female roommate/domestic partner (note I am not looking for a wife and not looking for friends with benefits). Not a scam or trick, I just get along better with women than men based on past experiences. As far as the work and day to day schedule goes, I'd like to have a consistent flow in the household, so it would be best if we had similar schedules as far as coming and going to work (for the record, I work during weekdays with weekends off).

Also, out of respect for my late wife, I'm not looking for any sort of relationship - just a roommate/partner but also someone that won't mind giving input, tackling some of the chores or handling some of the errands, etc. In other words, if you move in, you are encouraged (not obligated) to contribute your own ideas and thoughts for improvements, upgrades, etc.
