Looking for a comfortable, peaceful place to call home? I'm renting a furnished bedroom in my renovated, owner-occupied home in East Brainerd, conveniently located near Erlanger East Hospital, Hamilton Place, and I-75.

This is a great fit for a working professional, traveling healthcare professional, graduate student, or someone relocating to Chattanooga who is looking for a clean, calm and respectful home environment.

The Room & Bathrooms

The bedroom is approximately 11'1" × 11'4" and comes fully furnished with:

Private ensuite half bathroom

The room can also be rented unfurnished if preferred — ask for details.

In addition to the private half bath, you'll have access to a beautifully renovated full bathroom with a tub/shower located just steps from the bedroom. I have a separate bathroom, so the full bathroom is primarily for the renter's use, with occasional use by houseguests.

The renter's bedroom and my primary bedroom are located on opposite sides of the house, with the main living areas between them, providing additional privacy.

The Home

You'll have full access to the spacious, furnished open-concept common areas, including a renovated kitchen with granite countertops and island seating, dining area, and comfortable living room with a large TV and streaming services.

The home also includes a large 200 sq. ft. (10' × 20') furnished back deck with outdoor seating, dining space, shade sails and string lights, plus a spacious fenced backyard and covered front porch.

Driveway/off-street parking is available.

Please note: Shared washer/dryer access is not available.

Included in Rent

Electricity, water, sewer, natural gas, Wi-Fi and pest control are all included. Streaming services are also available on the shared living-room TV.

Meet the Household

I'm the homeowner and the only other person currently living in the home. I'm a marketing professional and work from home from a dedicated private office, separate from the common living areas.

I enjoy having a comfortable, clean and peaceful home and tend to keep things pretty low-key. I'm friendly and happy to chat or share the occasional meal, but I also really value personal space and privacy. I'm looking for someone who appreciates a similar balance and will feel comfortable treating the house as their home while being respectful of our shared spaces.

You'll also be sharing the home with my two medium-sized rescue dogs, Blanche and Cora. They're both friendly with people. They're allowed on the furniture in the common areas, but they won't be allowed in your bedroom/private space, and you won't be expected to help care for them.

Household Environment

This is a calm, clean and respectful home, and I'm looking for someone who wants a similar living environment. Mutual respect for each other's privacy and personal space is important to me.

Occasional guests are welcome with good communication in advance, but this is not a high-traffic or frequent-entertaining household. I follow that same approach myself — I rarely host, and when I do, it's planned and communicated ahead of time.

Alcohol is permitted. No illegal drugs or recreational drug use, including marijuana, are permitted on the property. A non-smoking renter is preferred.
