Neurodivergent friendly, Christian household. Unfinished bedroom. Background check required.

We have a room to rent in our nearly year-old modular home. 8'10"x 10'8", interior center room, big bright window with curtains & hooks, 3 ft closet. Our house has a warm beachy color scheme. Lots of blues and browns. Textured oatmeal walls, stucco ceiling, multicolor ash gray wood linoleum. Pull through gravel driveway off of quiet dead-end road across from special needs art school. You would be parking towards the end of the house. Huge open backyard. No decks currently... Future plans. Three-step wood platform entrance to the front. VA metal ramp attached to front entrance. You are welcome to use the kitchen, and all the supplies they're in. Open to occasionally sharing a meal. Would really love if we had someone that could help with keeping the place a little tidier. We do our own dishes and laundry. The laundromat is down the street, we do not currently have a washer and dryer but if you have one that would be wonderful.

Yes, the common space is messy at the moment. We are in the middle of reorganizing. All of the items in my current office, which will be your room, will be moving to the master bedroom today. We do have an extra night table available. You will have to bring your own bedroom furniture. Anything that cannot fit in the bedroom will have to be placed in storage. Dining room table can accommodate 8 easily.

You will be sharing a bathroom with my father. It's a standard shower tub combo with additional safety bars. No oils in the shower. We are not looking for any reason that my father would have a slip and fall or you for that matter. It is best for you to keep your hygiene supplies in your room or under the sink. Space is limited.

So a bit about us... The house belongs to my ADHD 82-year-old veteran father. I am his only daughter and I have power of attorney.

I am Darcy. I am 44 years old. I am AuADHD and I am his caregiver. I use that term lightly as he is very independent yet. I have a few a autoimmune disorders. I spend a lot of time in my room working on projects, trying to do remote work. When the weather is within the right parameters my dad and I will go doordash driving to make some extra money. We mainly live off of his Social Security money. I'm in the process of trying to build an online business. I am in the process of becoming a vocal coach. I am a singer and songwriter and have a songwriting group that I connect with occasionally. My autistic side loves opals and gemstones. I occasionally do artwork mainly with colored pencils but I'll be branching into oil paints soon. I am a licensed county notary public. I am a peer-counselor.

I am also learning to become a deliverance minister. You're not crazy, You're just afflicted. Cast out the demonic spirits and then work on healing the body and soul. No I'm not going to claim that every 5 seconds you have a demonic spirit. I'm not that kind of person. I might think it but I won't say it. 😂 This is a healing space.

We are both strong Christian constitutional conservatives who care a lot about politics. Our TV is often turn onto world politics, news of Israel, biblical studies, videos of bronze mannequins doing jump scares, car chases, or something of that sort during the day. In the evening usually around 7:30-8:00 Dad and I will settle in for our primetime shows in which we watch until somewhere between 12:00 and 12:30am.

We are late to bed, late to rise. We do not want an early bird. This is a night owl house.

We moved to Cleveland TN from Washington State 3 years ago and have had this house for nearly a year. It's a four bedroom house. I have the master bedroom suite. Steve's in one of the small bedrooms, his choice. Another small bedroom is for storage and the cat's bedroom.

We have no diet restrictions. We tend to keep a high protein diet. Not interested in sharing a house with a vegetarian/vegan who's going to constantly be judging us. Been there, done that. And nothing grown in the United States is organic unless it's been grown in a greenhouse, cuz you can't control chemtrails.

We have an American shorthair tuxedo catcat named George. Yes, he sheds a lot. He's the sweetest boy. He doesn't know how to knead without his claws, so he makes spicy buns. He is strictly an indoor cat. He only gets catnip once a day no matter what he tells you. 😹

We don't mind if you have the occasional visitors, just let us know when they are coming to visit. No overnight visitors. We are not going to do 3-day visitors that can call themselves residents. Former apartment manager, I know all the tricks.

We have a sober house when it comes to vices. Absolutely no drugs, alcohol, **0 or any smokes or anything like that. No incense or candles. You can use candle warmers and oil diffusers. I am allergic to all forms of smoke, unfortunately even in cooking. Please don't turn our backyard into an episode of jackass. This is not a frat house. No blaring your music.

My father likes to provoke me when my blood sugar is low. He's a brat. His ADHD has fun when I react to his provoking. He will sit there laughing at me when I hit meltdown. We bicker quite a lot. At 82 my father's memory sometimes causes him to do things he doesn't remember. My autistic side can't stand being called a liar for telling him he did do something. I run in 100% authentic honesty.

Meltdown burnout can happen from all the symptoms of my autoimmune disorder combined with autism and ADHD and perimenopause. This often occurs for me during cooking. So I can't say there won't be any drama... But it will only last a few moments.
I may ask you to stir something while I take a 2 minute breather.

Yes, there will be a month-to-month lease. We reserve the right to ask you to leave, with notice, at any time, for any reason. Keep your room relatively clean. No funky odors. No science experiments.

If you call the authorities on us for bickering you'll be kicked out. Keep out of it. Most of it's funny anyways.

I am dating. So there will be some times that I am not with my father and he's hanging out at home alone. Oh and when I'm at Bible study on Wednesdays. We will always let you know if we have company coming over.

Please try to keep minimal noise between midnight and 10:00 a. m.

If you have any other questions, please, just ask.
