Working in NYC or visiting for a while? This is your move. I’m renting out a furnished bedroom in a unique two-level loft on Staten Island: hardwood floors throughout, exposed brick walls, and an open kitchen/living area with bar seating and track lighting. It’s got real character, not your typical rental.

You get the bedroom (bed, dresser, ceiling fan, natural light), plus a bonus room that works great as a walk-in closet or workspace, which leads directly to your own private full bathroom. No sharing.

We share the kitchen (full-size stove, microwave, plenty of counter space), living room (couch, TV), and laundry. I live upstairs with my own bathroom, so you’ll have solid privacy on your level.

I have my kids Friday through Sunday, so weekends are family time around here, just good to know upfront. During the week the place is chill and quiet.

Staten Island is the most underrated way to do New York. The ferry is free, gets you to Manhattan in 25 minutes, and you’ll save serious money compared to renting in the city. Perfect if you’re here on a work contract, doing a project in the area, or just want an affordable home base while you explore NYC.
