- Utilities are NOT included - however WIFI is included. - The utility bills (Electric, Gas, Heat) will be spilt equally between all roommates living in the apartment during the time of the bill statement period.
- Shared Kitchen and two (2) bathrooms to share for everyone to use
- Dedicated cabinet space in kitchen cabinet as well as access to all kitchen appliances; small blender, air fryer, slow cooker, rice cooker, coffee maker and large toaster
- Fire Extinguisher and Smoke detectors
- No smoking in or on the house property.
- Smoking, drugs, and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the house.
- Only single professionals, Medical students, and International students.
- I currently have 5 male roommates, who are hard working, quiet, and respectful.
The room is located on Castleton Avenue, one block up from Cebra Avenue and Victory Boulevard. This location is close to Key Food, Wendy’s, Cultural restaurants, Pizzeria’s and other amenities.
- S46 Bus stop just a few steps away from the apartment building; traveling 6 minutes to the Staten Island Ferry.
- S61, S62, S66, S91, and S92 can also be accessed on Victory Boulevard one block away.
The rent is $1000 per month, and a one-month security deposit plus an additional $250 for utility security is required to move in after a required background check is completed. Upon moving out of the apartment, your security will be returned so long as there are no outstanding rent or utility bills that were not paid during your stay and the room and furniture is in the same condition it was in when you moved in to the room. This room rental is month-to-month for the year. However, if it doesn’t work out, you will be given 30 days’ notice to move out of the rental room.
The ideal tenant is clean, quiet, and respectful of everyone in this apartment. If you are not a community type of person - then this room is not for you. Tenants will follow the cleaning plan in the apartment by cleaning up after themselves and keeping their room clean and organized, as well as following the chore weekly plan to maintain the apartment clean. If you are not going to follow the rules or cleaning plans - this is not for you. You be asked to leave.
