East Petaluma Room in Quiet Safe Neighborhood

Sweet, Sunny Room in a well-maintained East Petaluma home – $1,100/month includes utilities and housecleaning. Short to long term.
I’m seeking a kind, upbeat, and respectful human to rent a room in my clean, well-appointed East Petaluma home. This is a shared housing situation with a maximum of four people.

We’re located in the Adobe neighborhood of East Petaluma near Lucchesi Park. We’re a 10-minute walk from the Petaluma Farmers’ Market, which takes place every Tuesday. We’re also a quick 5-minute drive to Trader Joe’s and Starbucks. Across the street from the home is Lynch Creek and Lynch Creek Trail.

This is a master tenant/sublet situation where the master tenant (me) is also the on-site property manager. I strive to maintain a clean and well-maintained property. Reported issues get addressed quickly. Everyone who has come by to look at the property remarks on what a well-kept and lovely home it is.

The Space:
•   A light-filled bedroom can fit a queen-sized bed, a dresser, a nightstand, and a closet
•   Shared bathroom
•   Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and multiple refrigerators
•   In-unit washer & dryer
•   Rent is $1,100/month, all utilities included (PG&E, water, garbage, recycling, and internet) and a bi-weekly cleaning service.

The Vibe:
The home is a smoke-free, substance-free, drama-free, moderate alcohol use environment that caters to working-class professionals who seek the benefits of “quiet enjoyment,” peace, and tranquility in their living arrangement. There are at most four (4) people living on site. The current tenant makeup is primarily in the 30- to 50-year age range, but people outside of this range are also welcome.

You Might Be a Great Fit If:
You’re in your 40s to 60s, financially stable, tidy, emotionally grounded, and enjoy a harmonious home. You appreciate a bit of fun and friendliness, you’re drama-free, and you don’t smoke.
