Looking for a Roommate/Part-Time Caregiver

My name is Brian and I am friendly, kind, and get along with most everybody, though I do also appreciate my alone time. Primary interests include: sports, movies, television shows, music, the arts, and experiencing new restaurants/foods.

I am paralyzed from the upper-chest down, use a power wheelchair to get around, and looking for a roommate who can serve as a part-time caregiver to be around overnight Sunday-Thursday in case of an emergency. I will provide a bedroom and access to a full bath, living room and kitchen at no cost, though I do ask for a monthly contribution towards utilities, garbage/recycling, Internet, etc.

With the necessary credentials (e. g. Home Care Aide or Nursing Assistant Certified) you could be compensated for between a few hours weekly up to full-time, depending on how much of my care you are interested in taking on. Both training and hours worked would be paid by DSHS via Consumer Direct Care Network Washington.

The property includes a paved driveway and large backyard consisting of garden, grass, trees and a multi-level pond. It is located on a quiet private drive less than a mile west of the Alderwood Mall, mere minutes from I-5, the Lynnwood Transit Center and Edmonds Community College.

My ideal roommate is courteous, reliable, compassionate, and appreciative of a clean environment.
