Room Available in James Island Townhouse

We have a private bedroom opening up in early April in our townhouse at The Islands on James Island. We're looking for someone to move in then and join us on a new lease starting May 11th — rent will increase slightly at that point but remains very affordable for the Charleston area.

The Space:
Private bedroom (~10x10) with ceiling fan, natural light, and carpet — shared bathroom with one other person. The common areas are spacious and fully furnished: an open living and dining room with sliding doors to a back patio overlooking a pond, and a large kitchen with full appliances, dishwasher, and plenty of cabinet space. In-unit washer/dryer. Two-story layout with all bedrooms upstairs. Community pool and gym (currently being renovated). Free parking included.

Cost:
$767/month when split evenly three ways from move-in until May 11th, at which point we sign a new lease at $830/month when split three ways (11–13 month term). Both figures are well below the Charleston average. Utilities divided on top of that.

Us:
Two working professionals in the sciences with standard weekday schedules. We keep the place clean and communicate well. We have friends over occasionally, but it's generally a quiet household. We have a cat.

Who are we looking for:
Someone reliable on rent, reasonably clean, comfortable with a cat, and not looking to throw parties. That's genuinely it. Beyond that we're pretty easygoing.
