This is our fully-restored, three-story Victorian with separate entrances on each level, situated in a desirable location, on a fenced corner lot, in a safe, peaceful neighborhood. The unique historic property, known as The James K. Davis House, is located in the Old-Quad area of downtown Santa Clara, California, USA. Davis built the house in 1891 and was the village blacksmith at the time. The property has a very fascinating history, and is recognized as a historic landmark.

We have the upper-level master bedroom with shared bath available, which affords use of the exquisitely furnished common areas, kitchen, dining/living room, use of the outdoor spaces, patio, front and rear porches, pergola with outdoor lighting, BBQ, banquet tables, garden, etc.

The location is optimal. A 5 minute walk takes you to Santa Clara Farmer’s Market, Santa Clara Post Office, the shops and restaurants at Franklin Square, Santa Clara Senior Center, Mission Branch Library, City Plaza Park, and more. A 10 minute walk takes you to Santa Clara University, Mission Santa Clara, Santa Clara Caltran Station, and Safeway Supermarket. A 10 minute drive takes you to the San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) and to Costco Wholesale.

I restore vintage Mercedes-Benz cars in the detached, spacious, two-car garage and workshop. I also enjoy growing organic heirloom tomatoes in the garden, and the 26 organically cultivated fruit trees are very productive. You are welcome to enjoy some fresh seasonal harvest, if you wish. We have a small Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie) named Reese. He likes everyone, does not shed hair, is always clean, and does not mess in the house.
