Single room available for rent in a 3BR 2BA home in West San Jose, starting on March 1st for a 1 year lease. Neighborhood is extremely quiet, suburban, family friendly, welcoming, and safe. Tons of parking everywhere and very walkable. Location is central to all major grocery stores, retail stores, and freeways without it ever feeling crowded. Home includes central heating and cooling, filtered shower and drinking water, and natural lighting.

The Room: Beautiful, carpeted room which receives plenty of indirect light. The room is approximately 11ftx12ft large with a mirrored 6ft attached closet. Walls are newly painted white (the photo in the ad is old) and all outlets, ceiling fans, and lights in the room are new. Room will be unfurnished.

The Bathroom: Shared detached bathroom with one other roommate. Bathroom is in the hallway right outside your door. Bathroom includes a tub and shower with a new vanity and plenty of storage for your personal items.

The Home: Home is fully furnished with a large comfortable couch, TV with chromecast, fireplace, area rugs throughout, dining room table set, all the natural light you can ask for without it getting too hot, plenty of indoor plants, and a large skylight with retractable shade.

The Kitchen: 1 Electrical stove, 2 ovens, fully stocked with cooking supplies, a refrigerator with a lot of storage, cabinets, pantries, ceiling fans, dishwasher, sink, and a clean counter space.

The Garage: 1 Large Washer, 1 Large Dryer, built in cubbies and closets for storage of personal items, a large workmen’s desk, and a home gym set-up.

The Backyard: A large non-heated pool that varies in depth from 4ft to 7ft. We also have an outdoor grill that’s fun to use in warmer weather.

The roommates: Roommate “M” is in his late 20s, works in office, is extremely clean, cooks every other day, quiet, respectful, and enjoys working out and watching films. Roommate “C” is in her early 30’s, works from home most days in her bedroom, is also clean and quiet and cooks a couple of times a week, and she has a small 22lb mixed-breed rescue dog named Jimbo. Jimbo pretty much stays in “C’s” room all day, is quiet, and friendly..

YOU (what we’re looking for): Preferably female. We are looking for a young professional in her late 20s or 30s. Someone who is quiet, peaceful, clean, respectful, light cooking, and who is willing to participate in bi-weekly house chores to upkeep the home’s comfort (nothing serious, it takes ~15 mins to complete). No additional pets allowed unfortunately, the owner only allows a maximum of 1.

Rent & other fees: Rent is $1,410 a month, deposit of $1,316; includes weekly pool cleaning, yard work, and all misc. house maintenance items. This amount does not include internet or utilities, however we try our best as a household to keep it as low as possible.
