1 bedroom for rent in 3BR 2BA house [December 14]

We prefer a minimum 3 month lease starting between December 14 and January 1.

The house:
- 3 Bedroom, 2 bath with all living spaces already furnished
- We are social people!
- Large/open design in shared spaces (kitchen/dining room/living room) with small bedrooms and bathrooms down a hallway
- Living room has plenty of light
- Room for rent (~10.5 ft x 9 ft) can be provided unfurnished or furnished and shares a bathroom with 1 other tenant
- 1 car garage used for storage (sports equipment, art supplies, tools, etc.) with easy street parking
- 0.5 mi to San Antonio Caltrain stop and closest Safeway
- Very large corner yard with a lawn, 2 lemon trees, 1 peach tree, 1 orange tree, 1 pomegranate tree, half a dozen rose trees.
- Nice quiet neighborhood in Monta Loma, Mountain View. Friendly neighbors.
- Weeknight house quiet hours are usually 11 pm to 8 am
- Occasional social gatherings are planned on weekends for holidays, BBQs, music, board games or birthdays
- Rent includes utilities (gas, water, trash, electric, internet)
- Pets are a possibility, please ask.

On the downside:
- The room is on the smaller side, but has a full-size closet.
- Tolerance of some noise (jam sessions no more than once a week on a weekend) is necessary but noisy times are communicated and can be negotiated ahead of time based on everyone's needs

Roommates:
The two of us currently living here are males in our early thirties. One is a musician who has gigs in the evenings, and one is a software engineer (who is mostly not around at home on weekdays, and likes to play music on weekends). We're fun social people. If you like Karaoke, the location is a plus because our go-to Karaoke place is a 10 minute walk from the house. We are open to roommates of all backgrounds.

This house is definitely for you if you're looking to have a fun time during an internship, and prefer to be close to Mountain View / Palo Alto. Longer term roommates are also welcome.

The process:
1. Respond to this posting introducing yourself and your preferences for a shared home environment along with the date you would like to move in (mid-month is OK rent can be pro-rated)
2. Serious inquiries from compatible tenants will get invited to come see the home and meet the roommates
3. Once a roommate is selected the landlord will be contacted with the new tenant's information and a sublease agreement can be signed. Lease duration of at least 5 months is preferred but shorter duration is possible.
