Hello! I?m looking for an awesome roommate in a 2-bedroom 1 bathroom apartment nearby downtown Mountain View.

MOVE-IN: The room will be available to rent ASAP. The rent is month to month. I am looking for at least a 3-month commitment.

LOCATION: The apartment is convenient to everything you need. I?m located right off of El Camino, but not too close that the street noise is a problem. You are 5 minutes away from the San Antonio Shopping Center or Castro Street, 15-20 minutes away from Stanford/Downtown Palo Alto or Google. The apartment is within a 5-minute walk to a bus stop and located within a 10-minute drive to get onto either Highway 101 or 280.

THE APARTMENT: The apartment is roughly 800 square feet with additional closet space in the room and along the hallway and shared bathroom. There is central heating along with a dishwasher, microwave and oven. There is a large living room with TV and game systems we can share. There is an exterior patio that overlooks the pool shared by the apartment complex. The washer and dryer are located outside, adjacent to the complex parking, and are coin/app operated. You will have a dedicated parking spot, and there is usually plenty of street parking nearby.

THE ROOM: The room is 145 square feet with a private closet roughly 2? deep by 7.5? wide. There are windows facing the west. There is additional storage in the hallway closet and outside storage located adjacent to the dedicated apartment parking.

ROOMMATE: Hello, I?m Scott. I'm 31(M), grew up in the Bay Area and like to play board games, video games, Table-top RPGs, go running, watch movies, spend time with friends and try new things. I?m working on starting a career in programming and I part-time at Starbucks. I've lived in this apartment for the past 3 years.

I?m looking for a roommate who is interested in sharing their interests and living space with me. When I?m not in the middle of a pandemic, I?d like to socialize together but have some space to recharge my batteries; looking forward to hanging out either during the week or on the weekends. I?m looking for someone who would be a good fit.

COIVD-19: I am taking the Shelter in Place seriously, and I expect you to do the same. No outings with friends. Stick to the ?If you have to drive, it?s too far? for recreation. No visitors. Yes, this sucks.

RENT: The rent is $1250 a month. This does not include utilities, which are PG&E (heating and gas, roughly ~$50/month) and Internet (Comcast, ~$30/month). There is Wi-Fi throughout the apartment, speeds are approximately 70 Mbps download, 6 Mbps upload over Wi-Fi. Water and trash are paid for by the landlord.
