Housemate for Unique 2br House RWC 15 Jan

One housemate to join me in a 2-bedroom/1-bath bungalow style house in Redwood City. The available bedroom is second smaller bedroom but with large closets and view of backyard - there's also plenty of storage in the garage. Available January 15 or as early at January 5th if you don't mind some work done during the transition.

The home is nestled in a small cul-de-sac and walking distance to the Caltrain Sequoia Station and downtown Redwood City.

House Features:

- New carpets and windows last year and landlord is planning to paint and replace kitchen counters!
- Backyard
- Garage space for storage only
- Washer/dryer in the garage
- Driveway space for two cars
- Nice size kitchen/dinette
- Small living room
- 1 bathroom (shower/tub)
- Month-to-month lease

Landlord lives close and is really responsive. It's a little quiet dead end street and all the neighbors know each other and look out for one another.

Rent for the bedroom is $1350, not including utilities which ranges about $50 to about $200 per person depending on the month (Gas, Water/Garbage, and Internet) as the Water/Garbage is billed every two months.

More on D: I'm a 43 year old female from Boston that moved to Bay Area a couple years ago to start work at a start-up non-profit in Redwood City, but then became a high school teacher in East Palo Alto. I'm up and to bed early during the week but love to cook and relax on weekends. I also have family down in the Monterey and will be visiting them often.
