We have an opening in our rent-controlled, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath duplex on Treasure Island. The room is 10.5'x10.5' with a 2'x2.5' entryway, and a 4'x2' closet. Rent is $745, plus internet laundry monthly $45. Total $790 monthly. One time returnable deposit equal to one month’s rent/fees of $790. $1580 total to move in.

We are 3 people, one single female, 50, who works in healthcare, and a couple in their 20s who are in culinary & shipping industries. We are a non-smoking, easygoing, fairly quiet, drug-free household, who also do not wear shoes in the house. We like cooking, holistic health and wellness, and value respectful communication. I work mostly mornings, afternoons and weekends, and the couple work afternoons/evenings and weekends.

New tenant can be work from home, if needed--we have reliable high-speed internet (Comcast, just tested download speed at 681.25Mbps)

The apartment is rent-controlled, quiet, has a dedicated permit parking space. Also, there are no extra utility bills apart from internet and washer/dryer rental. We have a kitchen well-stocked with cooking gadgets, an under-utilized garden, BBQ, and a living room. The views of the Bay are great, the neighbors (who've been the same folks in the 15 years I've lived here) are decent, there's a grocery and two nice restaurants nearby, plus several wineries. It's very laid back and quiet over here, but it's a super-quick commute over the Bay Bridge to get to the City (no toll as it's technically still in San Francisco).

There is a free rental application with the Villages at Treasure Island, the property management company, who conduct a background, employment, and credit check. That process takes about 2 weeks. After approval, you would need to sign the lease, which is month to month, and we split rent/internet/laundry per bedroom evenly, so three ways total.

The room is about 115 square feet, not including the closet, which is another 8 square feet. It has a sunny, southeastern exposure. There's a storage shed out front, and a large closet downstairs that is under-utilized at the moment. It's not too cramped, cluttered, or crowded. The fixtures/kitchen cabinets/paint/decor are bit dated, as it's an old Navy base and it's family housing from the 1970s, but we keep it clean.
