Hello! I am looking for a housemate to join me and my cat, Lincoln, in our very spacious, rent controlled unit in the Sunset District! May 1 move in. Details below:

About the Room:
- VERY spacious private room: can fit queen/king size bed, clothing rack, dresser, desk and a chair with plenty of room left over to do activities?.. if you got that reference you?re at the top of consideration the list ;)
- Beautiful bay windows (five of them!!), this room gets a stunning amount of light in the morning & afternoons
- Room located at the front of the house, my room is at the back, so you will have a lot of privacy & we won?t hear each other unless we want to!
- Carpets were professionally cleaned in Feb 2020

About House:
- Rent (paid by check) is $1600 + Utilities split by 2 (usually around $80-$100 a month)
- Rent controlled! 0 rent increase in the 5 years I have lived here
- Month to month lease with a 30 day notice period
- Flat located in the quiet Sunset district
- Fully furnished living room and kitchen
- 1 1/2 baths (toilet and shower are in separate rooms)
- Garage and storage space available, Driveway parking available
- Large shared backyard
- 1 block from N Muni Line + multiple bus lines
- <1 block from Golden Gate Park
- 5 min drive to Ocean Beach
- No Pets - sorry - I have a cat, Lincoln, who is my emotional support animal
- no cigarette smoking
- Attentive and responsible landlord who I have a good relationship with

About Me:

- 28 years old and originally from the UK (I?ll make you the best cup of tea you?ve had in your LIFE)
- I work as a Cultural Strategist & Future Insights Lead for a fashion retailer - It?s ok if you don?t know what that is, I?m just about figuring it out myself
- That means I work a pretty cushy 9-5 and am at home most nights during the week cooking/lounging/smoking
- I?m on a personal crusade to experience the best of bottomless brunch in the Bay Area (I only discovered bottomless when I moved here in 2014 - I have some catching up to do)
- I have an emotional support cat, Lincoln (4YO, very cuddle, mild - moderate asshole, can hear a snack bag open from 500 paces). He?s a lot of fun and very into cuddling, 0 concept of personal space, you?ve been warned!
- Socially connected with a wonderful community of friends - I am the ?feeder? of the group - that means brunches, dinners, game nights etc that you are ALWAYS invited to

Ideal Applicant:
- Has the majority of their shit together, full time employed preferred
- MUST be okay living with a cat - seriously. Aside from your room (if you wish), he has full roam of the apartment, and like I said, 0 concept of personal space.
- Looking to stay at least a year
- Wants to build some semblance of ?home?: I?m intentional in creating a safe, warm, welcoming space in the apartment. I welcome people who want their living space to be exactly that!
- Someone who champions healthy boundaries, candid communication & reciprocity
- Would like to join me on said bottomless brunch crusade :)
