Live walking distance to Chestnut Street!

We've just been invited to renew our 1-year lease which will begin on October 1. Two housemates are moving due to work/personal progression, so a couple of rooms will become available at the beginning of the lease. We're hoping to find two new housemates to join us on the rental contract and move in as early as 9/10 (possibly earlier).

~~LOCATION~~ We are at the corner of Presidio Blvd. and Letterman Dr. in the Presidio. We live in one of the old officers' buildings that you drive by and wonder, "Who lives there?" We are about a 5 min walk to the Lombard gate and 10 min walk to Chestnut street shops and restaurants. A Presidio Resident parking permit is available, but a car isn't necessary as the Muni 43 stops right by the house, and The PresidiGo stops across the street. In case you don't know, the PresidiGo is a free shuttle for Presidio residents that goes to and from the financial district and stops at the Embarcadero BART. It's a free 25-minute ride to downtown that is clean and quiet with lots of working professionals. It is usually on time to the minute, so it's super easy to use.

~~THE HOUSE~~ Three level home with 5 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms. The main level has a living room, dining room, full kitchen, and a 1/2 bath. The finished basement has 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, another living room, and a laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer! The top floor has 4 bedrooms (including your bedroom) and 1 full bathroom. We also have a backyard with a BBQ and a detached garage for extra storage. A cleaner comes twice a month to clean the common areas, but we tend to keep the house pretty tidy between cleanings.

~~THE HOUSEMATES~~ 3 Co-ed working professionals. Everyone is pretty laid back and has their own schedule, but we also occasionally hang out when we happen to be home at the same time.

~~THE ROOM(S)~~ 1 room facing the back yard (12? x 9?) and 1 room (8?6? x 11?) facing Presidio Blvd. Both rooms are on the top floor (feel free to check out the floor plan in the photos). The room that faces Presidio Blvd receives a generous amount of light through it?s two windows. Both rooms include a closet.

~~RENT AND DEPOSIT~~ $1664/month plus utilities which usually range between $135-$185 and include parking (what?!?), internet, cleaning lady, PG/E, and random household items like detergent, paper towels, etc. A $1000 security deposit will be collected.

~~NEXT STEPS~~ If our home sounds like a good fit, feel free to tell us a little about yourself. The more information, the better. LinkedIn and FB would be great but aren't required. We'll narrow our search down to a small group of people and invite them to check out the house and meet the housemates.

~~PLEASE NOTE~~ The Presidio Trust owns the application process and does not allow for sublets. A thorough background check will be conducted by The Presidio Trust since we're on federal property, and an application fee will be charged. $46 was their application fee earlier this year.
