We’re looking for one roommate to join our 3BR / 2BA apartment on Baker St., right by the Panhandle, starting November 1.

The apartment is in a great central location for someone who wants easy access to the city while having a peaceful place to come home to. The Panhandle is steps away, with Divisadero, Alamo Square, Haight-Ashbury, Lower Haight, and Golden Gate Park all nearby.

Your space

The available room is unusually large for SF: approximately 218 sq. ft. (~15’ × 14’), unfurnished, with a Baker St.-facing window.

Most importantly, it has its own private en-suite bathroom with a bathtub.

There’s enough room for a king-sized bed, full desk/workspace, and additional furniture without feeling cramped. It’s a good setup for someone who values having a genuinely private space within a shared apartment. Spacious closet in the room with sliding mirror door.

Who you’d be living with

We’re two guys in our mid-30s with our own work, interests, and routines. The household is friendly but independent. We’ll chat and occasionally hang out in the common space when our interests overlap, but nobody expects their roommates to provide their social life.

Roommate 1: 34, creative designer. Active lifestyle, cooks at home regularly, and works hybrid/WFH Monday and Friday. Generally quiet at home and treats the apartment as a place to recharge.

Roommate 2: 36, works outside the apartment five days a week and is usually up and out early. When home, he’s generally relaxing with shows, sports, YouTube, or video games and mostly keeps those activities to his room.

One thing we’re both serious about is maintaining a comfortable shared space—especially keeping the kitchen clean after cooking.

Who we’d get along with

We’re looking for someone independent, considerate, reasonably clean, and friendly who already has their own life going on.

You don’t need to become best friends with your roommates, nor do you need to disappear into your bedroom. Somewhere comfortably in between is ideal.

The apartment tends to be quiet, particularly after 10pm, and we’d like to keep that atmosphere. WFH is completely fine as long as you’re mindful of noise and shared spaces. Friends and dates are welcome when everyone is respectful of the household.

This isn’t a party house. Drinking is fine in moderation, but we’re looking for someone who wants home to feel calm rather than chaotic. Weed/smoking isn’t okay inside or in shared spaces due to smoke sensitivity.
