Pet and 420 Friendly

The room itself is 12 by 12 with a window on either side, north and south. There is a long but narrow closet and we are not allowed to store anything outside the apartment. The building was built in 1874, a typical flat in the upper Haight with a long hallway. The room is next to a private bath, tub and all. Common areas include eat in kitchen, tv room, deck and backyard shared with 1 other flat on the opposite side. We are emphasizing that we are quiet and want quiet individuals. I’m a 71 retired child psychologist that works full time with the homeless youth in the city. Just an old hippie lady that has lived here for 15 years. My housemate is a non-binary identified 30 year old that I’ve known for 10 years. I have 2 cats and a Shetland sheepdog. My housemate has 2 service dogs, both of them are Belgium Malinoir, wrong spelling. I’ve known both dogs since they were puppies. We would welcome another animal. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. 2 blocks to Masonic and Haight, 8 blocks to the start of Golden Gate Park, we are 1 block south to Buena Vista Park and 1 block north to the Panhandle. Public transportation of all sorts blocks away. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and other happenings on Haight street. 420 is allowed in the house. The cost includes all utilities and a bi-weekly cleaning crew for the common areas and bathrooms.
