Your new room is in a 2 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath apartment and is located in a quiet, safe, and clean neighborhood with panoramic views of the city and a great location near transit up the hill from Castro, Cole and Noe Valley. There is a courtyard garden patio and outdoor balcony to sit, relax, enjoy the view, drink your morning coffee, or hang out with some friends.

The apartment has blazing fast gigabit fiber internet with mesh routers to connect all your devices and stream to your hearts content. Convenient automated lighting has been installed throughout the apartment and a security system to ensure your safety. Heat, water, and a streaming device is in your bedroom and are included with the rent. The living room has a home entertainment system that includes most streaming services. Internet, electricity, and monthly house cleaning are not included in the rent but average about $150 per month.

Secure storage space is available and there is plenty of safe on street parking in the neighborhood with no permits required. Laundry facilities are on site and a small clothes dryer is available to use in the apartment.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, cooking supplies, and appliances with plenty of cupboards, shelves, refrigerator, and freezer space reserved to fill with your stuff.

I use a 1/2 bath in the apartment and the shower only in the full bathroom but otherwise it would be yours to use exclusively. I have recently updated the full bath with a large, mirrored medicine cabinet, wall cabinet, and a new sink faucet.

I've also recently installed in your bedroom new blackout drapes and a top-down bottom up blackout dual cellular honeycomb shade. The room has also been freshly painted. The bedroom is a spacious 14 1/2’ x 11' with a large closet. Additional storage is available in the linen and coat closets. The bedroom is furnished with a mattress, bed frame with storage drawers, nightstand, chair, and dresser. If additional items are needed we can discuss. If you prefer an unfurnished space the items can be removed.

No pets are allowed and the building is a non smoking facility. There are regular SF apartment rules with quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am so there's no problem getting a good nights sleep.

I am a Monday through Friday 9-5 working professional male in my 50’s. I love to cook healthy meals and am quite skilled at it and enjoy the occasional shared meal with my roommate. I also love music, sci-fi, movies, art, tech, hiking, exploring the city, mountain biking, health and physical fitness, transit, cars and car maintenance, comedy, laughing, hanging, talking, and much more. I am super handy and will quickly fix any issues in the apartment as well as implement periodic upgrades and modifications. I’m a low-key chill easy-going person. I am looking to share my home with someone who is respectful, responsible, pays rent on time each month without being asked, and is a neat, clean, and tidy person. Your privacy and mine are mutually assured, however I’m down to hang out together, too. I don’t drink but have no issues with others that do.
