One Bedroom, Private bath

I "borrowed" this and the next 2 pics from ads when a unit was for sale.

Room for rent/roommate wanted, one person, early JUNE.

Room and separate (but not shared) bathroom, furnished if needed, in 1100sf (rented) condo in San Carlos.

3 miles to SDSU, 3 and a half to Grossmont. Close to I-8. Walking distance to Cowles Mountain, Lake Murray, groceries, CVS, a gym, coffee.

Room is 10x13 plus 2.5 x6’ closet. Bathroom has a shower/tub, and a large linen closet. (And, obvs a toilet and sink. ha)

There’s a balcony with a bbq (but also a covered cat box,) which isn’t as bad as you’d think. It’s a good sized balcony, so, ya know, the cat box isn’t Next to the BBQ. ha.

The complex isn’t fancy, it’s from 1970, but it has two pools, a hot tub, a pool table and ping pong. There’s a “club house” that I don’t think anyone has used since 1980, haha. There are multiple laundry rooms that take cards, not coins, and are much cheaper than the laundromat. There’s really great landscaping, which I love. There are bunnies, sometimes ducks, hummingbirds…

The complex is quiet and has all types of folks living here. Families with kids, older people, some college adults (they’re not kids if they’re in college, even if that what people call them, eh?) But my place is on the edge of the complex, near the entrance, so I don’t really see folks that aren’t on this side. Street parking.

The place is fully furnished, including the bedroom IF you need it. I plan on selling it otherwise, but it will definitely be removed from the room when you move in if you don’t want it. :)

Shared kitchen. Use whatever you want. I have an instant pot, rice cooker, kitchen aid mixer, Blendtec blender, dishes, pots n pans, etc.

No smoking/vaping indoors, because I'm also renting.

Rent: ̷$̷1̷2̷0̷0̷/̷m̷t̷h̷ $1100 Utilities: SDGE, split Deposit: Negotiable! Six month or longer lease preferred, but also negotiable. Internet included. I don’t have cable TV, but there’s a Firestick on the tv in the living room. I also have a TV you can have in the bedroom if you need one.

ME: I’m recently 60, going on 30. I work part-time (for now) at starbucks (yes, I will bring home coffee!) Really, most of my friends are in their 20s (starbucks. haha) , but I don’t have people over often. I’m outgoing and friendly, compassionate, and have a good sense of humor. Compatibility is important. :)

I have two cats, but can’t have more pets. The cats are indoor only and are friendly.
