My roommate and I are looking for one more person to move into our home. We are currently four people but half of us are moving out and we just need one more person to fulfill the lease. Our ideal roommate is a working professional who does not work remotely and is very clean, communicative, and knows how to hold themselves accountable.
Cleanliness is a must to live here. We take turns cleaning every week and hold each other accountable for maintaining the bathrooms, kitchen, and other common spaces. If you do not clean, you cannot live here.
The house is in a great location off the 61st St-Woodside stop on the 7. You can access the LIRR and several buses to the city and Astoria—including the Q70 select to LGA. We have a huge kitchen, one and half bathrooms, and access to a private backyard.
We’re charging $980 p/m for the smallest room in the house. Space is limited, so the ideal roommate would also not have a lot of stuff. Rent includes heat in the winter and water. Electricity ranges from $40 p/m during the winter to $125 p/m in the summer. (The house has central AC.) The gas bill averages out to $5 or $6 p/m and Internet is $25.
No smoking and no pets allowed. LGBTQIA+ friendly.
