Mid-sized room with nice view of Manhattan skyline, 20 Mins from Midtown for rent in 3 bed / 1 bath apartment located on the border of Woodside and Jackson Heights. Close to Queens blvd and downtown Woodside / Jackson Heights. Great transportation hub at the 74th Street/Roosevelt Ave Jackson Heights stop (7EFMR lines, La Guardia Airport Bus, 6 stops from Citi Field, LIRR one stop away on 61st, 20 minutes from Midtown, Close to Greenpoint, Williamsburg and Astoria), which is 7 mins. away walking. Private Roof, outdoor balcony. No rioting in the area/roommates are COVID free.

Really peaceful/safe, quiet, mostly Asian family neighborhood. Been living here 2 years and never had any issues with anyone. Very diverse. Great, affordable, authentic restaurants nearby.

$850 + utilities ($30 for internet / $30-$80 for gas, heat, electric, etc.) = $910 - $930/ month
Security deposit of $850 and $850 (monthly rent) due before move-in date immediately (before July 1st). Internet + Utilities are due around the 25th every month. Monthly rent is due anywhere between the 25th and the 30th of every month.

About the roommates:
Both COVID-19 free (one recovered from it/got positive antibody test in March and is now immune; the other may have also gotten in March, but has been fine since then as well). 1 straight white male (35 y/o, college graduate, works in Digital Marketing) and 1 straight White male (35 y/o, college graduate, retail manager). Both work 9:30am-6pm, full-time. We prefer quiet nights on weekdays, and prefer to keep any parties/get-togethers off-premise. We do not want people to "bring the party" back to the apartment. Bringing back a girl is fine, but since this is a shared space, our apartment can?t be the "after party" spot for several people, nor hosting friends often.

It is also not uncommon for both roommates to spend a weekend away. One roommate is barely there, so it's really like you only have one roommate usually. We drink socially on the weekends, but rarely during the week. We prefer the same when it comes to drinking and drug use . No hard drugs allowed and no alcoholics. Coming home uncontrollably drunk and loud on work nights will not be tolerated. We like to be respectful of each other's sleep schedules, belongings, food, etc. and we clean up after ourselves, especially in shared areas. So please be mindful and considerate of all of that, and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.

About you:

Preferably late 20s - to Mid 30s. Working (full time). Cleans up after themselves, particularly in common areas. Respects roommate?s property/food. Laid back. Trustworthy. Able to be fair-minded and adheres to the agreed upon rules. Able to pay rent and utilities on time (roughly $850- $960 / month total). Doesn't invite people over during the week to hangout - if you do it's rarely and noise level shuts down at a decent hour. Respectful to the other roommates especially on weeknights.

This is a shared space and both of us enjoy living in a peaceful, clean, laid back environment so we're looking for someone with the same way of thinking / way of life.
