Clean, New Room in Historic Victorian House
Our dream housemate is a mature single female who is clean, quiet but with a sense of humor, responsible, likes animals, holds down a job and treats her home well. She doesn't smoke or do drugs or have relationship drama (we bury stalkers in the backyard.). She can once in a while share a meal or some wine or watch tv.
In return, we have a huge, newly renovated room to offer. Sun-filled in the afternoons, overlooking the backyard. with a vista of clouds passing by overhead It is furnished with a queen sized bed (can even fit a king), dresser, cedar chest and huge closet.
It is next to a brand-new bathroom shared with one other woman.
Common rooms (living room, kitchen, dining room, backyard, front porch) are shared with 4 nice people.
Our house is 1 block from Forest Park with its running track, golf course and trails. We're also 1 block from loads of shopping on Jamaica Avenue, 3 blocks from the J train to downtown Manhattan (NYU, Financial District), Kennedy airport (and York College), close to local hospitals, and a short drive to La Guardia airport. J also connects to E and F to Midtown.
The rent includes utilities and wifi. Cleaning is available, but extra.
Bring your most recent Pay stub, deposit, and references to the first interview, in case we both feel it's a good fit. If not, we say adieu and no hard feelings.
Looking forward to meeting our new housemate! Is it you?
