Our dream housemate is a mature, single person who is clean, quiet but with a sense of humor, responsible, likes animals, holds down a job and treats their home well. They don't smoke or do drugs or have relationship drama. They can share a meal or watch tv when they feel like it.

In return, we have a huge room to offer on the third floor, very private, renovated last year. Sun-filled in the afternoons, overlooking the backyard. with a vista of clouds passing by overhead. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed (can even fit a king), dresser, cedar chest, desk, lamps, television, and huge closet.

It is next to a lovely new bathroom shared with one other lovely woman.

Common rooms (living room, kitchen, dining room, backyard, front porch) are shared with 4 nice people.

Our house is 1 block from Forest Park with its running track, golf course and trails. We're also 1 block from loads of shopping on Jamaica Avenue, 3 blocks from the J train to downtown Manhattan (NYU, Financial District), Kennedy airport (and York College), close to local hospitals, and a short drive to La Guardia airport. The J also connects to E and F to Midtown.

The rent includes most utilities. Wifi and cleaning are available, but extra.

Bring your most recent Pay stub, deposit, and references to the first interview, in case we both feel it's a good fit. If not, we say adieu and no hard feelings.
