Sunnyside - Room for Rent - $1625

This apartment is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom in Sunnyside, with <5 min walk to the 7 train (46th st station). The apartment has in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, wall-mounted mini splits with remotes for AC and heat, and a virtual doorman (Carson). The bedroom is a good size, easily fits a desk and queen sized bed with a window for nice sunlight. Kitchen and bathroom are shared. My current roommate is moving out to live with his girlfriend, so I’m looking for a new roommate.

Pictures include what it currently looks like with my roommates stuff in it before he moves out, so you can get a sense of what it looks like not empty. I have more pictures, but they limit it to 9 for the listing.

The lease is for one year starting June 1st. The management company says the application must be complete by April 30th. 40x rent and minimum 700 credit score required.

I’m a 25-year-old software developer, pretty chill, clean, and respectful of shared spaces. I always clean up after myself and just ask for the same in return. I don’t really have people over besides my girlfriend occasionally, so the apartment stays quiet. When I’m not working, I’m usually reading, at the gym, gaming, or at the movies (AMC A-List member 😎). Looking for someone with a similar vibe.
