King size bedroom + Private bathroom in a very spacious 2br/2ba apartment with backyard - Ridgewood (near L/M train)

Large bedroom with private bathroom available in a spacious, brand new 2BR apartment with a beautiful private backyard, located on a quiet tree-lined street in Ridgewood where Brooklyn meets Queens.

Transit access is excellent:
• 3 blocks from the M train at Seneca Ave
• 7 minute walk to the L train at Myrtle-Wyckoff
• 30 minutes to Union Square door-to-door

The neighborhood has a relaxed vibe and is full of great restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, bars, ceramic studios, gyms, yoga etc all within walking distance.

The bedroom is very large by NYC standards and can easily fit a queen or king bed plus a work area, wardrobe, dresser, shelves, and even a small couch with a coffee table if you’d like.

The room will be mostly unfurnished and comes with a window A/C unit (stored in the basement during winter).

Your private bathroom is located right next to the room.

One of the best features of the apartment is the layout: our bedrooms and bathrooms are on opposite sides of the living room, creating excellent privacy and separation for a two-bedroom apartment.

This apartment is much bigger than the average NYC space, so it actually feels like a comfortable home where you can relax and move around.

The living room and kitchen area are large and welcoming, perfect for occasional dinners with friends or movie nights on the big comfy couch.
The apartment also has a lovely backyard where I grow tomatoes and other vegetables. It's so precious to have an outdoor space to enjoy meals in the sun or read on the hammock.

You’ll also be sharing the home with Meadow, my very sweet dog who people tend to fall in love with quickly.

I’m looking for a responsible and mature roommate who values a peaceful home and enjoys a friendly co-living dynamic.

I like creating a warm, harmonious atmosphere while also respecting privacy and personal space. The apartment layout makes this very easy.

I keep the home clean and fairly tidy and I’m looking for someone who naturally contributes to maintaining that balance (no strict cleaning schedule, just shared responsibility).

Ideally you are a working professional with a similar schedule and a in a close enough age range.

Bonus points if you enjoy gardening or if you’re looking for climbing, hiking, or dance buddies.

House notes:
No tobacco smoking in the apartment.
Occasional by the window is ok, but better enjoyed outside :)
No heavy late-night parties. Small gatherings and dinners with friends are welcome, ideally wrapping up by 11pm on weekdays.

No additional pets, though if you are a great fit and have a small dog we could discuss it.
