Two Rooms Available

Living Space

This IS an LGBTQIA friendly space and is a safe space for all other affirming groups. All respectable, chill humans welcome.

THE APT/ NEIGHBORHOOD:

It is a three-bedroom, one bath. The available rooms aren't the biggest but they ARE a good size. Both rooms fit a full-size bed comfortably and even a desk or drawers. The rooms are $900 and $875, respectively.

The rooms in the pics WILL BE UNFURNISHED.

It's the top floor of a three-story walk-up. There is a glorious skylight in the common area.

The closest train is the Seneca M, and the Myrtle-Wyckoff L is maybe 13 mins away. Huge 24 hr laundromat 6 min walk also.

I'm toying with the "no tv in common area" idea. But this is negotiable.

YOU:

You're an adult. You understand and maintain a basic level of respect and consideration for your fellow roommates. If an issue or disagreement should arise, please let it be known.

You do not HAVE to be an introvert or an introverted person. But I am curtailing this to more introverted, socially aware ("woke") people. Because, well, real recognizes real.

I just ask that you understand this is not a party house. A Few friends here and there, fine. But I'm hoping to create a sustainable environment of a quiet, zen space.

This entire building tends to be VERY quiet and I love that about this place. I ask that you are aware of that and are willing to respect and help keep it that way.

Please, please, PLEASE, be aware of how your lifestyle coincides with others in the space. I hate to sound like a camp counselor but I've found co-living "common sense" ain't so common.

I'd like to treat this place like the MTA slogan with a small twist: If you see something, do something. Meaning, if you see an area is getting out of hand or something that the super should know about, do not hesitate to speak up. (The super in the building is very good about getting things done.)

Cleanliness is HUGE for me. I am not a neat freak but I am extremely keen on making sure I don't leave a trail of destruction behind and that things in the common area/bathroom are kept up and tidy.

I'm a true introvert, a hermit if you will. I like to keep my presence as lowkey as possible. No, I'm not Michael Myers creep level. But this does mean I stay mostly to myself. It also means that I like to keep my side effects (i. e. dirty dishes, bathroom grime, noise, etc) to an absolute minimum, if existent at all.

I'm preparing for grad school so most of my time is spent studying, reading, and generally lost in the ether of my own thoughts...in my room.
