It is our honor to meet you: thanks for your interest in our listing.

We are offering a gorgeous, furnished room in a dream-like house, completely renovated and furnished with style. The house is a true paradise. There is a huge organic backyard, a dreamy meditation terrace, plenty of space, complete kitchen to use, 2 full bathrooms, internet access. The house is kept very clean.

We are into yoga, philosophy, music, dance, books, organic gardening, environmentalism. There is a very peaceful vibe, the area is safe and vibrant. You will have three roommates in the age span between twenties and forties: honest, clean and inspiring people.

Regarding transportation, we are very conveniently located in Ridgewood, Queens: we are half block from the M train (stop "Fresh Pond Road"). We are also close to all the main buses stops of the area.

We are looking for someone honest, clean and reliable, curious about existence and open-minded. Someone who can smile, someone who is pursuing their dream. Someone who is living a healthy and spiritual life. Someone who wants a very good place to live and is committed to make it happen. Someone who cleans when it is their turn and pays on time. Rent is $850, not including utilities which tend to run between $75 and $125 a month for internet, gas, ConEd, etc. Security deposit $850 required for move in. The room is available both long and short term are welcome. Long term: minimum 3 months. For shorter terms, please consider that there is an extra fee of $100 dollars for each month.

This is a vegetarian house: in order to keep clean vibrant vibes, cooking meat or chicken is not allowed. This is also a mainly alcohol free environment, however an occasional drink is okay.

Please, also note that our house is very close to the subway, which is an incredible blessing. The other side of it is that you can hear the train go by, so if you are a very light sleeper, this may be inconvenient for you.

Location:
One block from the M train (stop "Fresh Pond Road", in Ridgewood, Queens), one block from all the shops and restaurants, three blocks from a nice cosy park; a friendly and safe community, a 25 minutes subway ride to Manhattan.

*Please, note that our roommate has been living with us for a long time, so when you come to visit, you will see the room with some of her furniture and her style. If you are our next roommate, you will be offered the room in the same state as it was before our friend moved in with us, which include bed, armoire and carpet as shown in the pictures.
