Bright, cozy private room in a 2-bedroom apartment you’d share with me. The room has a spacious closet, and the apartment includes a shared kitchen and living room. It’s on the second floor of a home with easy street parking (no alternate-side parking).

Conveniently located near the J subway line and LIRR, in a friendly, safe neighborhood. Forest Park is just a few minutes away, and laundromat, food spots, and a gym are all within walking distance.

All utilities included except WiFi.

About Me:

I’m a development professional who works from home a few days a week and likes to keep things relaxed and comfortable. I’m tidy and considerate with shared spaces but pretty laid-back overall. I’m social and enjoy good conversation or sharing a meal, but I also value quiet downtime. I’m into sports, culture, and the arts, and I’d love to find a roommate with good energy and open communication. I’m usually out playing soccer or seeing friends on weekends (and occasionally during the week), and while I might have a visitor now and then, it’s never disruptive.

About You:

You’re tidy, kind, and respectful, someone who communicates openly and helps keep shared spaces clean. You’re social and friendly but also appreciate quiet time. The apartment isn’t a party spot, though I’m cool with the occasional get-together or friends hanging out (just communicate with me). Ideally, you’re open-minded, share progressive values, and bring good energy to the home. Looking for someone who’s down to share a comfortable space and maybe even build a friendship. Bonus points if you’re a Knicks fan!

My current roommate is moving out at the end of November, so the shared spaces will be reconfigured and feel more open and organized. The room is currently in use as an office, but will be cleaned out by moving day.

References and proof of income required before move-in. We’ll also sign a simple notarized roommate agreement (not a lease) to keep everything clear and fair -rent due on the 1st of each month.
