There are two available bedrooms with a private bathroom. One room is 8 x 9 feet large enough for a Queen Bed or smaller plus a dresser and this is $1400. The other room is even larger at 15 x 10 feet and can accommodate everything mentioned plus an average desk and chair and this is $1600. Good closet space too!
The current roommate is super chill and occupies the 3rd bedroom and has her own bathroom.
This house is a 2 family located on a tree lined street with good sunshine exposure. Close to transportation and food markets and the laundry is just around the corner. There is limited street parking if you also have a vehicle. The pictures show a full size bed and dresser once in the 8 x 9 room, but the room will be delivered empty.
The kitchen is shared space and it’s a beautiful kitchen with bright white cabinets and decor on the walls. There is a counter space to sit and eat and adequate space to warm up a meal and eat it.
You choose either the large room $1400 or the larger room $1600 and the bathroom is mostly yours (if the roommates bathroom is out of service or if the roommate has a customer or guest, this bathroom will get used) and the kitchen and dining area are shared space. get the room, the bathroom and share the kitchen and that’s all. All utilities included like heat and electric and hot water. If you want your own secure Wi-Fi in your room, the provider is Spectrum for Internet service. No overnight guests are allowed but you are allowed to have a friend and r family member over to visit.
Location is very close to Howard Beach and JFK Airport and the A train service and Q8 bus. Food shopping is also close by and several take out places nearby.
You will need 1 month rent, 1 month security and 1 month broker fee plus a credit check will be required plus proof of income and good references.
