Looking for a roommate to sign a 12-month lease starting August 15.

This is a bright, modern apartment in a newer building (about four years old) located in Long Island City, right between Astoria and downtown LIC. The apartment has central A/C and heating, an in-unit washer and dryer, elevator access, and plenty of natural light from large windows throughout. There's also a spacious shared balcony that's accessible directly from the available bedroom.

The living room is already furnished with a couch, TV, and a folding dining table that can be tucked away to maximize space.

The available bedroom measures 9'8" × 10'11" and includes its own closet plus direct access to the balcony. It comfortably fits a full-size bed and may accommodate a queen depending on your layout. The room is unfurnished, although my current roommate will be selling his bed frame, mattress, and desk if you're interested in purchasing them.

The building also features a rooftop with beautiful Manhattan skyline views.

Getting around is easy:

5-minute walk to the 36th Ave (N/W) station
About 12 minutes to Queens Plaza (E/R/F)
About 12 minutes to Queensboro Plaza (7/N/W)

Groceries are convenient as well—Key Foods and Smart LIC are about a 5-minute walk away, and Costco is only a 5-minute Uber (or about a 20-minute walk).

Hi! I'm Richmond, a recent law school graduate and young professional. I've lived in New York City for over three years and have been in this apartment for the past year.

I'm clean, respectful, and easygoing. I keep the common areas tidy and have a busy work schedule, so the apartment is usually a quiet place during the week. In my free time I enjoy video games (Switch and Xbox), Broadway shows, reading, and exploring the city.
