Furnished Private Room in an LIC Townhouse | Home

I'm looking for a roommate for a furnished private room in my renovated, townhouse-style home in Long Island City. The room gets beautiful morning sunlight, and the home has a quiet, residential feel while still being just minutes from Manhattan.

Although it's technically a four-bedroom layout, only two rooms are used as bedrooms—the other spaces are set up as my home office, and a home gym that you'll have access to.

The home includes:
• Spacious, beautifully renovated living room
• Chef's kitchen with a dishwasher
• In-unit washer and dryer
• Home gym with a dumbbell rack, bench, rowing machine, yoga mats, and medicine balls
• Large backyard with seating for six, a fire pit, gas grill, and Ooni pizza oven
• Chicken coop with fresh eggs almost every day 🥚 (I let the girls free range in the yard some mornings FYI)
• Utilities and WiFi included

Location: About 5 minutes from Midtown Manhattan and a short walk to Queens Plaza, with easy access to multiple subway lines. Despite being so convenient, the neighborhood itself is quiet, residential, and private.

About me: I'm pretty low-key and easygoing. I work from home quite a bit, cook often, and occasionally host a small dinner party, but I don't go out a ton or have people over frequently. I renovated the apartment with my dad, and customized it a lot to my life, so I'm looking for someone who is respectful of this very special space. I live with my 4-year old chiweenie (chihuahua-dachsund mix) in the apartment.

I'm open to shorter term stays (a few days or a few weeks), or even something longer term if the arrangement works out and we get along.
