A private room in a luxury rental

Sadly, our current roommate is moving out due to a work situation, so we’re looking for someone to join us and renew the lease together.
*we previously advertised this room be available from May 1st but we pushed the date from June 1st. Please message me if the date fits you.

The current apartment lease ends August 31, and we’re ideally looking for someone interested in staying long-term. This is a rent-stabilized unit, and we truly love living here.

The apartment is located in Jackson Park, a luxury rental building with great amenities:

Gym(indoor/outdoor pools, saunas + co-working space ($145/month membership)
Beautiful courtyard
BBQ grills

Three rooftop lounges

Location highlights:

~10 seconds from Queens Plaza station
- 1–7 minutes to 3 subway stations
~10 minutes to Manhattan

Close to Trader Joe’s, multiple supermarkets, delis, bubble tea shops, bars, and restaurants

About us:

We’ve had a great living experience so far and are looking for someone who is:

House notes:
- Shoes-off home (please only apply if you’re comfortable with this)
- We cook frequently (Asian cuisine), so please be okay with that

Room details:
The room originally comes without furniture but you can take over all the furniture in the room, which are a desk with shelves and storage. Two standing lamps a couple of table lamps. Small vanity table. Desk chair and a bed. (Price is negotiable)

Requirements:

- No smoking (strict apartment rule)
- No drugs
- No pets
- Prefer female (open to considering male)
- No big noise, parties
*Since this is a particularly good deal for the location and amenities, we’re looking for someone who is a great fit for the household and aligned with a long-term living situation.

Utilities (electricity + internet): ~$50–$100/month

Cleaning: We prefer a cleaner (~$100/month)

Proof of income: $70K+

Also, I cannot show our gym, which is fantastic because they charge for guests even though it's just a quick tour.
