Quiet, sunny private bedroom available in a spacious luxury 3BR / 2.5 bath apartment in Long Island City.

The available bedroom is on the east side — city views, afternoon light, floor-to-ceiling windows, full closet, and maximum privacy: I'm on the opposite end of the apartment, so we each have our own spaces (I have the other bedrooms and bath). See pictures, you'll have a private half-bath just outside your room, plus the full bath with tub mostly to yourself (I only occasionally have a guest use it).

The living room is enormous, with a real kitchen facing the living area and the city skyline. Not a flex or an adapted floor plan — there is plenty of space for entertaining, with a full living room, dining area, and kitchen.

One stop outside of Manhattan: a 2 min walk to Queensboro Plaza (N/Q/7), 4 min to Queensbridge (F) and Queens Plaza (E/M/R), and a 10 min walk to the G train to Brooklyn.

Some facts about the space:

🏢 Luxury building with fitness center, outdoor pool, lounge rooftop, and other common spaces — no surcharge for amenities

🧺 Washer, dryer, and dishwasher in unit

❄️ Heating & AC in each room (digital unit with temperature control)

💡 We share utilities — you pay 1/3 of internet (Fios 1Gbps) & electricity, which runs to about $140 for you

🚪 24/7 doorman, plus cold storage for fresh/perishable deliveries

🛋️ Apartment common areas fully furnished (leather couch, 65" 4K TV, PS5 Pro, home theater, Roborock vacuum)

🌇 Sunny floor-to-ceiling windows in bedroom & living room, unobstructed Manhattan views

🌬️ Apartment extends from the front of the building to the rear — sunrise (east) to sunset (west), lots of light, quiet (12th floor), with cross ventilation

About me:

I work as a Senior Director of Operations at a tech company in Manhattan (hybrid, 50% in office). I'm easygoing, friendly, very clean, very organized, crafty, quiet, respectful, and a very experienced roommate. I love to chat when we see each other around the house, but I'm also very respectful of your privacy. My favorite things to do are exploring the city, going to restaurants with friends, playing video games, watching movies, and building/creating things.

I have one very sweet 9-year-old boston terrier dog (20 lb) — well trained, friendly, very little shedding, clean, doesn't bark at all, and stays mostly in my room sleeping. Everyone loves her, and she loves them back.

I have been in this apartment for 10 years.

About you:

Looking for a roommate who is an overall great person: respectful, responsible, friendly, tidy, very clean (especially with our common space), and easygoing. Happy to have a roommate of any gender/sexual orientation.

Rent: $2,700/month

About the lease:

Full new 12-month lease starting Nov 1. You'll be added to the lease as a co-leaseholder — the building application requires good credit and proof of employment.

Previous roommates who lived here can be reached for background on the apartment and me.
