Room Available in Long Island City

We are three working professionals looking for a 4th roommate. We live in the Avalon in Long Island city and we absolutely love our neighborhood. The area itself is clean, several restaurants and we are across the street from gantry plaza which has beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline.

The closest subway is the 7 train (Vernon/Jackson Blvd) that's one stop to Manhattan and you are in grand central. The commute is a breeze into midtown. Majority of the roommates work in Manhattan so it has worked out for all of us.

The room is a private corner bedroom with a balcony and floor to ceiling windows. The space has a shared bathroom with another female. The building includes gym access, elevator, roof top terrace overlooking Gantry plaza and gorgeous waterside view of Manhattan. We are right across the street from the Macy's Day 4th of July Fireworks (absolutely gorgeous). Across the street is our friendly neighborhood grocery (fair prices) , a brand new CVS and several restaurants and bars. It's obvious I love my neighborhood. Whether you want to explore with the roommates or yourself. It's a great place to live.

Our household is very respectable, clean and we all live well together. We are all working professionals and spend most of our time at work but we do have time to socialize together. We are respectful of each other's space and work routines and have lived together pretty well for awhile.
