Not wheelchair accessible. Nr JFK/Belt Pkwy/Van Wyck, commuter vans, transit and Uber servicers nearby. Unrestricted curb parking.

This wholistic home share offers a 1st fl., furnished bedroom with: a bed, dresser, night table, tv, 3 lamps, two windows, state-of-the-art quiet AC, excellent heat, walled artifacts, a desk and 2 chairs, a mirrored sliding door closet. The room is next to a semi-pvt., full bath. Share 1st fl [Kit., DN, LV, ] Housemate is responsible for maintaining the rented room and bath and helping keep tidy other shared areas. A small lower level luggage storage area is available at no charge. Share minor year round maintenance chores on main floor, yard and grounds as winter seasonal needs may dictate and expected in exchange for this low rent.

Welcomed preference: seniors 65+, independent, stable, neat, trustworthy, reliable, and high functioning DD’s. Short term OK, long term preferred.

NOT suitable for: pets, alcoholics, substance abusers, smokers of anything or vaping, institutional releasees, pork cooking. Prefer persons with no: major mobility challenges on steps, chronic MH issues, 24/7 electrical equipment dependency, no listing on the RSO, eviction track record, or persons with no emergency contacts and phobias/allergies to cats.

This venue is ideal but not exclusively for a retiree who prefers sharing a residential, pvt. home environs. Also, ideal for a: visiting professor, post-doctoral research fellow, Adjuncts, exchange scholars, IMG intern, veteran, temporarily displaced Red Cross disaster victim, English-speaking asylum/refugee seeker and LGBQ community.
