Hey there! I am looking for a clean, responsible roommate to join me in my bright, comfortable apartment in Jackson Heights. The room is open starting September 1st.

The Space
• Your Room: Unfurnished bedroom (12 x10) with plenty of natural light, and enough space for a Queen size bed PLUS a cabinet and a desk without being too crowded. You will also have a closet right across from your bedroom.
• Shared Areas: You will have full access to a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, and a shared bathroom with a tub/shower. The apartment is a third floor walkup, with 2 bedrooms.
The Hidden Gem of this apartment is a terrace connected to my bedroom, which I will gladly share when possible 😊 ( Great place to unwind with friends and/or even have a BBQ)

The Neighborhood
• Transit: We are a 5 minute walk away from the 7 Train at 82nd or 90th St (pretty much equidistant) with super-fast access to the E, F, M, and R trains at 74th Street- plus some local bus lines even closer. Your commute into Manhattan or around Queens will be a breeze.
• Food & Culture: Being the most diverse neighborhood in NYC, Jackson Heights is famous for its incredible food scene. We are close to amazing diverse dining, great local cafes & bars, 24/7 supermarkets, and laundromats. Besides, Jackson Heights is also the local gayborhood, so lots of LGBTQ+ friendly entertainment available close by.

About Me & The Vibe
• About Me: I’m 36, originally from Germany but have been in NY for 20 years, I work in corporate aviation on a hybrid schedule—at the office three days a week and working from home two days. I am Easygoing, a part-time clown, and full-time travel enthusiast who enjoys exploring new cultures. As a gay guy, I absolutely love living right in the heart of the Queens gayborhood and can happily point you toward the best local spots, cafes, and nightlife.
• The Environment: I like keeping the apartment clean, organized, and respectful. No OCD white-glove inspections here, just standard "please don't let the sink become a portal to another dimension" courtesy. I am totally happy to chat or share a meal, but I also completely respect personal space and alone time.

Financials & Utilities
• Rent: $1,200 per month. (Water/Heat included)
• Utilities: Plus bills (We will split the Wi-Fi, electric, and gas evenly each month, approx.$150/each, could be more in the summer with A/C usage).
• Move-in Date: Available September 1st.
