Room available in awesome new 3br LIC apartment

It's a new 3br/2bath apartment with big windows in each room so there's lots of natural sunlight and great views into Manhattan. The room is a decent size (10x10). There's an open kitchen attached to a dining/living room area with a balcony facing Manhattan. It's a nice but understated building with a full-time doorman, bike storage, a decent gym, a rooftop terrace with a barbecue, and potential for a parking spot if you have a car. There's also a dishwasher and washer/dryer in unit. I have some things to furnish the apartment, but you're welcome to bring your own stuff as well--I want us all to feel good in the space. It's in a really convenient location: a 5-minute walk to the EM trains, a 5-minute walk to the 7 train, and a 30-second walk from the G. It's also shockingly close to LGA airport if that matters (15-minute Uber).

About me: I am a 30-year-old male who just moved to NYC. I worked for 5 years after university in Philly and quit 3 years ago to run track full-time. About a year ago my career ended due to injury, so I had to move on. In the last year, I've been traveling around a lot--hiking, climbing, exploring and doing other random nonsense. Now I'm finally settled down and a normal human again. I like NYC, but I'm into outdoorsy stuff and I'll be wanting to get out of the city every now and then for nature and whatever else--always happy for company. I'm a music fan and like to go to a lot of concerts. I like food, coffee and beer, but who doesn't? Would love to find some cool spots in the area with roommates. I'm really into languages and I try to keep that up. I like playing board games, and in general I'm quite happy to try all things new. I'll probably cook 1-2 times a week, but prefer to with friends/roommates. I'm not messy (certainly not in common areas), but not the neatest person either. I imagine I'll have out-of-town guests, and you're welcome to have some as well.
