About the apartment: Spacious and fully furnished 3-bedroom apartment located on the second floor with convenient elevator access. The apartment features a cozy living area with a couch, large TV, video game consoles, and access to streaming services. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dining table, modern appliances, and a dishwasher. Every room has plenty of closet space, large windows that fill the space with natural light, we also have a generously sized bathroom with two sinks with an extra closet. The building offers laundry facilities in the basement, bike/scooter storage, and 24 hour access to a large shared backyard.

About your roommates:
Mariah - That’s me! I’m a 24 year old software engineer. I’ve lived in this apartment for over 3 years now and grew up in Queens so I know the area well. I’m pretty laid back, extroverted, love to talk and get to know people, can be pretty goofy, and overall, just easy going. I enjoy dance, traveling, food, volunteer work, reading, activism, time with friends and family, and I also do Caribbean comedy shows :). That all said, I’m not home most of the time as I’m usually working or out. I keep the space pretty clean, I’ll clean almost everyday just to maintain it and aside from that, I might be a little loud here and there when I talk or when I have music on to clean the house but otherwise you’ll just hear me laughing while I im watching tik tok :)

Jessica - Jessica has been my roommate for a few years now and have been friends for even longer. She’s also super chill, laid back, and is introverted but definitely down to hang out as well. She does animation and also works at a sushi restaurant. She also is often not home as she’s usually working but when she is home, she’s either sleeping or you’ll hear her gaming as she’s a hardcore PC gamer.

Soca - the house pet. A 2 year old female golden retriever. Super super friendly, always wants attention, very sweet, will cuddle with you, but also is a food thief so definitely don’t leave your food out on the table. She’s overall a good dog, she doesn’t tear things up except for whatever reason she has a thing for socks and used paper towels, I don’t know why lol. She rarely barks unless she wants/needs something but most of the time she sleeps and lays around the house.

What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone responsible who pays rent on time and keeps shared spaces clean—nothing too intense, just basic cleanliness. We’re pretty laid-back and don’t mind if you’re quiet, loud, or doing your own thing. We’re also very open about having people over; I occasionally have friends, family, or my girlfriend visit, and we’re cool with you having guests too. As long as everyone’s respectful and chill, it’s all good! We’re a pretty communal household vibe so if we order or cook food, we’ll offer or share food, or we’re happy to help each other out if someone needs essentials or anything else.

Other important notes:
- For potential new roommates, there is a one month security deposit in the amount of the rent.
- There is a sublease agreement to sign if you do move in.
