One Roommate Wanted for Our Queer Safe Coop Home

I am looking for one roommate to fill the available medium sized bedroom in our 3 BR apartment. The room is really of medium size (spare room only had large and small for options) and it's not really furnished. The previous roommate is selling his full sized bed and bed frame for 100$ if you want it. Besides that it's unfurnished. It does have a small closet and there is some additional storage right outside the room. We have a good landlord who provides plenty of heat and monthly extermination, does all major repairs, and pays someone to take out the garbage. You would be sharing a bathroom with one person. Our home is a safe, beautiful, and clean place to live.

Flushing is a safe, foodie paradise with all the amenities you could possibly want within walking distance (doctors, movies, grocey stores etc...). The building is a 3 minute walk from the Murry Hill LIRR stop. Utilites are about 70-90$ a month (WiFi, gas, and electric only. Heat is included in rent).

We are both cis gendered. My roommate is a 34 year old record keeper for a mental health office and I am a 49 year old queer, female artist with a job at the NYC Department of Education. We are clean, kind, supportive, and responsible. We are looking for the same qualities in a roommate to add to our cooperative home. You also must be a sound sleeper who doesn't have noise issues. Flushing is loud because of the air traffic. We are respectful and considerate but the walls are thin. Some noise happens between 6:30am and about 6pm.
