Private room in a small quiet family home

Quiet room available in a family home in East Elmhurst, Queens. This is a peaceful household best suited for someone who values a calm, respectful living environment. Everyone in the home works, so we maintain normal sleeping hours and keep noise to a minimum.

The home has thin walls, so we are looking for someone who is mindful of noise—wears headphones for music/TV, and soft footwear (slippers/sandals) is encouraged indoors.

This is a female-only household due to the shared living arrangement, and we are seeking a single working professional who will be a good fit. There is one dog in the home, so you must be comfortable around dogs, if you are not this is not the right fit for you. He is friendly.

No guests are allowed. This is not a party environment. No smoking, no loud music, and overall respect for shared space is required. Light cooking is allowed, but you must clean up after yourself immediately.

The home includes two rooms on the first floor (one currently occupied by a female tenant with her own bathroom). The homeowner lives in the basement.

Applicants will be required to complete a background and credit check. We are currently interview/meeting potential roommates to ensure a good fit for the household.
