Looking for a room in a nice quiet neighborhood!? We got the room for you.

Some Basics:

We are located in the middle of Jackson Heights/East Elmhurst, a 15minute walk to Roosevelt Ave train station [E, F, M, R, 7]. The Q66 stops 2 minutes away and can take you to Astoria/LIC or Flushing. We have a 24/7 Dunkin Donuts across the street and plenty of restaurants in the area, of all cuisines. There's a laundromat about 2 blocks away, they have drop off service if desired.

You'll be getting the medium sized room, large enough for a queen bed if desired, but a twin or full will leave you more space. The closet is large and the window is large enough for a good sized AC. The landlord, who lives below us, loves the heat, so it's a nice cozy space in the winter.

Who you'll live with:

There's 3 humans and some furry pals, A [ he/him] lives in the front room and knows whenever the ice cream truck is coming down the block. M [she/her] & R [he/him] are a couple and lived comfortably in the medium room, but now took over the large room and are hoping to fill it with more furry pals.

-- M is a seamstress, waiting for her return to Broadway! Before the shutdown, she finished up the costumes for Mrs. Doubtfire, and has also made costumes for Moulin Rouge & Hamilton, just to name a few. M likes the odd and obscure, with her mini collection of oddities and the strange. M, originally from Ohio, is used to having all types of furry pals and would prefer a roommate that enjoys the fur babies as well.

-- R works at a bubble tea/sushi restaurant and binges crime and medical dramas when not working. He rides an electric scooter to and from work[Chelsea & Midtown] and avoids public transportation when he can. R shares the room with M, which they stay in most of the time. R fun obscure fact: he has the same birthday as M's dad, just many years apart. R can also be seen with a vape in his hand the majority of the time, don't worry, he's not a vape bro.

-- A is an experienced chef who spends most of his time working. When not working, A enjoys watching anime, while eating food he didn't have to prepare, and giving Lenore the scraps. A has his social moments, and leaves his cave to play video games in the living room or practice his guitar skills. If he's not tired from work, he'll also cook a meal, or sometimes 2 or 3.

We are all LGBTQIA+, POC, and 420 friendly [no smoking in the house, vaping & edibles are fine]

Ideally we want someone who is down to earth, doesn't bring the party home, and a night owl or deep sleeper. We try our best to be quiet at night, but sometimes we get hungry and feel like cooking a meal at 1am and don't want someone that will get annoyed by sounds of the kitchen. There's 1 bathroom, so someone who works odd hours or from home is best to avoid any bathroom time issues. A is normally first out the house [7ish am], M is second to leave, around 8am when working. R works odd hours and usually never leaves the house before 9am
